  DR UPPAL is a quack. The office I had to see him in was really dirty and old. No waiting room, had to sit in the hallway and wait. When he came in, he was very disheveled and looked like he had just got out of bed. He did not even wash his hands before greeting me. i needed a spinal cord stimulator, and his recommendations were grossly wrong. First he wanted to use medtronic units. These are very second rate units. When I explained that I would only have an ANS unit, he argued with me instead of going with my desire. i late found out that ANS has no relationship with him for a reason. He and his office does not meet their standards. but the worse part of the visit is that he shares all patient information with everyone in the office. THIS IS A DIRECT HIPPA VIOLATION, AND I HAVE REPORTED HIM. HE IS NOW BEING INVESTIGATED FOR THIS. After he sees a patient, he dictates the patients entire personal history including the reason they are being seen that day. He does this while he walks thru the office, in front of other patients. I actually listened to him as he walked out of a patients room, that the patient had just got out of prison, and he even put in the dictation the reason he was incarcerated. Then when I was finally put into a room, he came in, shook my hand, then said excuse me and sat there and dictated the previous patients entire history and treatment in front of me. Then during my visit, he kept taking cell phone calls from his daughter, and arguing with him. I called my insurance and they were shocked that he did this, so they referred me to another doctor right away. This guy is a clown, and I hope that because of his HIPPA violations that he gets repromanded or even has his license removed. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR.
